Around Town

I love Singing,dancing,engaging in medical research.Its in every school,eventually Oral Roberts should have it.

There's tons of clubs on campus, frequent activities with your wing and your brother/sister wing, The Hammer which has plenty of games and a ginormous tv, the aerobics center if you're a fitness nut, lots of stuff to do off campus, and more!

We do not have Greek life obviously but ORU offers a lot of clubs and a lot of ways to get involved. There is SA: Student Association, ORU United for Isreal, SNA (Student Nurses Association), Intramurals, Art, Photography, Missions and Outreach. Pretty much there is a lot of things you can do on campus.

There’s a lot that you can do on campus and in Tulsa for fun. On campus, there’s some sort of event or special speaker almost every day! We also have the aerobics center with a pool and four gymnasiums. Off campus, there are many parks, resteraunts and I even found a 4 dollar movie theater. There is the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, the phenomenon that is The Center of the Universe, aquariums, zoos and Turkey Mountain which is great for exploring and hiking. The fair comes into town every fall and has free concerts and the BOK center often hosts bands like Imagine Dragons and Kenny Chesney.

There are multiple events and activities to do such as: indoor soccer and there are many events and clubs set up to ease pressures on school work.

The great thing about ORU is the it is not in the middle of no where. There is a mall close by and other great food places and downtown is nice.

Walk around campus, visit the gift store, go to an ORU volleyball game or other sport.

There are so many clubs and organizations you can enter. It can fit any of your interests. Like business clubs, language, athletes, etc. We also have SA (student Organization) which always organize something. Like free cinema trip (for more than 500 students), Gala concerts, different festivals, etc.

Intramural sports, Student Association activities, playing games and watching tv in the Armend Hammer Student Center are all on campus activities. There are more throughout each semester. Tulsa, Oklahoma also offers several fun things to do all over the town, and a lot of those things are free or at a low price.

There is very little to do for fun. This is one of the biggest downfalls. Guys and girls dorms are separated so if you want to hang out you have to go outside in the cold... Go see a movie? Not a great city to go out and have fun. The clubs are not very good either. Sometimes downtown Tulsa has some good events if you are willing to make the drive.
