NMC is a great way to start your post secondary education with lots of classes and options to continue your education given its small size. The people are friendly, the teachers accesible, and the atmosphere is not judgemental, because people are here to learn. Only negative I can say is parking is horrible, they built a new dorm and did not add parking.
Read MoreNMC is a great college. The vast majority of the staff and instructors are very friendly and good at their jobs. There are some annoying things about living in the dorms, but the school as a whole is amazing!

It always pays to ask to talk to more people when dealing with admissions and financial aid, as they often are not all up to date on information and can be difficult to work with.
Read MoreNMC is located in a beautiful area and has a great campus. The teachers are wonderful and could work anywhere but choose to be here in Traverse City. The campus is perfect for students who need the prerequisites whiles they choose their major.
Read MoreNMC is very inexpensive, and it's University Center allows students to take four year degrees without having to leave Traverse City. The library, reading and writing center, and the math center are all very helpful, and the people are very friendly, as well. NMC provides an excellent environment to learn, and that's what college is all about.

Read MoreNorthwestern Michigan College is one of the most prestigious community colleges in the nation, and for that matter, should consider becoming a four-year university. I duel-enrolled last year and am a full time student this year, and I absolutely love the professors and the atmosphere around campus. Unbelievably gifted professors who are willing to sacrifice their time to aid students in any way they can.
