Northern Kentucky University Campus Life

The Student Union and Market at Landrum are great. The all-you-care-to-eat options in Norse Commons and Callahan are somewhat lacking.

The University has a wide variety of restaurants in the Student Union.

For registration we had Chicken, green beans, and macaroni. They gave another option for vegetarians so they were not left with no food. Over all they gave us a decent amount of food that was delicious. (I could barely finish)

The food is very good with plenty of options. There is always a vegetarian option or if you want something else just ask. The staff are friendly and willing to accommodate many needs. Sometimes the meals are repetitive, but their are many options near the campus.

The food at NKU has a lot of variety and is very tasteful.

Again, I live off-campus, so I rarely eat on campus. However, I do know there is a pretty wide selection in the Student Union, and I have yet to dislike a meal when I do eat on-campus. However, I wish there were places open later.

I love the student union food and the Norse food near the dorms.

Very repetitive at the main cafeteria. I actually would avoid eating there, I only enjoyed a few of the meal choices, breakfast was by far the best thing there.

Two commons type places that offer mostly home cooked things. Papa John's, The Strip (grilled cheese, soup, chicken, curly fries), Coyote Jack's (chicken, burgers, fries, corn dogs, onion rings), Salad/Smoothie stand, a knock off of Chipotle, and TakeOuts which is basically like a minitmart with quick snacks, drinks, vegetables, sandwiches, etc. and Starbucks.

If you are a student wanting to join a fraternity or a sorority, NKU is a great place for that.

A very diverse Greek community far from the stereotypical Greeks shown on TV. Very active in community service.

I am not participating in Greek life, but everyone who does loves it - and there is not hazing involved.

As a member of NKU's Greek Life, I can attest that it is amazing. The relations between each organization is amazing. When it comes down to someone in need, everyone pulls together.

I know a few people who participate in the Greek Life at NKU and they say it is a blast.

Prominent. There are many sororities and fraternities and they are always doing something on campus.

Greek life is huge here. Everywhere you turn there is something advertising it, or some Greek event going on. For those completely against Greek life, this could possibly be a turn-off.

There are many Greek organizations and they are one of the best things about NKU. Greek life at NKU is something that anyone can join. NKU is known for having Greeks that do not haze their new members. Greek life is involved in philanthropy events, specific rituals, and many other things.

Very visible and influential on campus. It's a good place for you if you're looking to be in a sorority or fraternity. Otherwise, your options are kind of limited.

It is excellent. It is accepting and does not haze.
