Read MoreThe weather is wonderful (as long as you don't mind a few weeks of snow here and there) and everyone is so accepting of each other. It is really laid back, so you can strike up a conversation with pretty much anyone. The bike trails are open, there's the lava tubes to hike, the camping site, it's just a wonderful place that becomes your home before you know it.
