    The education is probably no different than your average state school, so don't waste an extra 30-40k a year to get the same education. The co-op program doesn't at all negate the money you have to pay as often times you still have to worry about paying for campus housing or parking. -- If you're interested in research, there's lot's of opportunity for that, and there are scholarships available.

    Almost all Universities in America are ridiculously over-priced, and Northeastern is no exception. However, it has one of, if not, the best job-straight-out-of-college rates in the country due to the co-op program. Compared to other schools, Northeastern is good at returning your investment into college education.
