I have never tried the dining food from North Park, but have heard negative reviews on it. However, we do have Einstein Bagels which many students often go. We also have couple of restaurants across campus such as Mc Donalds, Jimmy Johns, etc.

The dining hall does not offer the best nutritional value but there is a grocery store that can make up for it. The campus also has cafes that one could go to if dining hall food is not what they want. There are also restaurants located within walking distance of the campus that offers an alternative for food.

i heard the food in the cafeteria does not taste good at all, however, there are other places on campus where you can buy food. the johnson center has a great small cafeteria that has amazing bagels and sandwiches. they also have great salads and bakery items. they have almost any drink you would want, and the people there are extremely nice.

  • I am a current student here isn't the greatest at NPU or any university. Since when has any form of school lunch been fantastic? Our Dining Hall does host some catering for special events that have pretty top notch food though.

On campus food is really hit-or-miss... I recommend a 10-15 meal plan. Nearby restaurants are good. Also, let your family know that Jewel-Osco gift cards make great gifts.

The cafeteria is very diverse and has its good and bad days like any cafeteria. A 10 meal plan is recommended, you won't need more than 10 as long as you keep snacks in your dorm.

Students are limited to one source of food on campus, the limited hours often cause student-athletes, like myself, to miss meals regularly.

The food isn't great, but it's not as bad as they say. The dining hall was recently remodeled and looks quite attractive. One of the main beefs students have with ARA (the cafeteria) is that, although our meal plans are prepaid, we are not allowed to use our meal plan for guests or bring food out of the cafeteria. It is a bad value for your money.

There's no greek life at NPU; however, it doesn't really need it. North Park stands on it's own without this aspect of University life.
