Definitely interview! And brush up on your interview skills! As a work study student who works in the admissions office, my eyes have fallen upon many a resume and interview sheet, and oftentimes, being shy or difficult to talk to is often the reason an interview may not go as well as you would like. Visit campus. You really can't get a feel for the community if you don't visit. It's the reason a lot of students decide to attend here. The feeling of community is really strong and you can't feel it at a lot of state schools or bigger private institutions. Everyone cares about everyone here, and after coming here for less than a year, being a Muhlenberg student has honestly made me a more caring person when I'm out of the Muhlenbubble! Keeping your grades up, applying ED, and showing demonstrated interest are other important factors to consider if you're applying here or considering applying here. And if your test scores aren't amazing, that's fine! So many students choose to submit a graded paper rather than test scores (again, I work in the admissions office so I know these things!). Overall, visit, interview, and definitely apply ED if you want a higher chance of getting in. After you visit, you will definitely want to apply ED.

Read MoreAs for any college, solidify good study habits now, so that when you have the free time college allows you know how to use it wisely. As for Muhlenberg specifically, they call it the caring college for a reason. Muhlenberg has a very strong sense of community even among the theatre geeks, pre-med hopefuls, and obsessed athletes. This is a place for people with diverse interests and unique combinations of study. Some people will complain about the small size of the student body but it's what I signed up for and I love it. I don't want to be in a class with 400 other people and at Muhlenberg I haven't encountered a class with even 40 other people so far.

Not able to have a car with you on campus? Not a problem, there are shuttle services that run to practically anywhere you need to go whether it's for last-minute dorm necessities or Friday night movie plans. Muhlenberg truly possesses the resources to accommodate its students in a multitude of ways.
