i walk in through the kitchen and i grab an orange or cookie from last night's m&c's (milk and cookies are served every night!!) when i get back from classes,…
the dorms all look super cool. some are more modern but others seem to have been there since the school was founded. they all look like they have their own…
If you are looking for parties, there are a few big ones. There are a few party animals too, but not many. Most of us find enjoyment sharing…
dorm life at mount holyoke is what you make of it. some of the halls are simply in a better location on campus than others, so if you are in…
Our CAs and SCAs (formerly SAs and HPs) are there for everyone, no matter what - I've had wonderful SAs that I have developed very comfortable relations with. Dorm life…
there are only 2 options right now which are kendall for to go during lunch and blanch for a buffet style open lunch/dinner. the food is repetitive and boring but better quality than other colleges. i wish that the taste was better because things seem thrown together sometimes, like the ingredients are there but it wasn't cooked with care. its also annoying that some stations in blanch serve the same thing for lunch/dinner. if they served different things for lunch and dinner i would be happy. also considering you are forced to be on the meal plan if you are on campus the food should be improved.
Read Moretheir food is all prepared at the school, never frozen or prepackaged like in high school. the only school i've visited where when you enter the dining hall it smells undeniably appetizing. they are consolidating their some nine dining halls this year though, so i'm not sure if the food diversity will continue.
Read MoreIts healthy and good and there are a lot of options. The dining halls are clean too.
Read MoreI haven't been to the campus myself, so I can't really speak to the quality of the food, but from what I've seen it looks alright.
Read MoreDining is consolidating soon, but I love it the way it is.
Read MoreGood food for a college. Still makes you miss home though.
Read MoreMount Holyoke has pretty good food compared to other institutions. About once a month a dining hall will have Gracious Dinner, which is a night when they dress up the dining room and feature a meal from another culture. You can look up the menus of the dining halls online and choose where you would like to go.
Read MoreWe have upwards of seven dining halls; the food is well-crafted and sometimes delicious, but is definitely what you make of it. Avoid anything with tempeh or seitan.

Read MoreThere is no Greek Life at Mount Holyoke. However, there is a club for it that goes and does activities together as a slightly toned down Greek Life option.
Read MoreThere is no Greek Life.
Read MoreIt is nonexistent
Read MoreThere is no Greek life at Mount Holyoke but we could be considered the largest sorority on Earth. Saying that, sororities were banned in the early part of the 20th century to create a stronger community among all of the students. Thus far, this strategy seems to have worked.
Read MoreWe do not have a Greek life and it is refreshing. We build bonds among each other and I think this is better than belonging to one specific house.
Read MoreWe don't have any greek life, but if you are really interested, some sororities at UMass will let you join there.
