The mission of our college is to educate the whole person in a learning-centered environment, recognizing our responsibilities to one another, to our community, and to the world we share. We value excellence in teaching, learning and service as we maintain sensitivity to our role in a global, multicultural community. We are committed to continuous improvement and dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and diverse learning opportunities and environments.
I certainly enjoyed my time at Moraine Valley as it has molded me into the student I am today. The environment is very clean, the buildings offer great heating and ac systems, it is very safe, and offers a nice variety of activities and clubs to keep students engaged and out of trouble. Although the college experience will not be attained because the lack of dorms I believe this experience also contributes to the high number of dropouts and students put on probation because they are simply too young to be responsible. Moraine Valley is a great place to learn and grow as a student and a person.

Read MoreI really do enjoy being here, the cool thing about the classes is that they are so small, but they literally include every demographic you could possibly think of. In my business stats class I had middle aged men and women pursuing their master's, yet I also had a high school senior earning AP credit. There's variation in every class, you really never know who you are going to meet.
Read MoreIt's a clean, safe environment, but because everyone commutes it's obviously missing that college experience of dorming and close knit feeling. Regardless, everyone's friendly and in the same situation as you, so you feel completely at ease. The class schedules are so flexible, I take all of my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am-3pm. I love those 4 day weekends!
