dorm life at montana state is well-worth the money you pay to live there! your social life is so much more diverse if you live around other people going to…
Dorm life if fun and very social! There's dorms and floors with themes so if you'd like to be surrounded by other outdoor enthusiasts, architectural students, or whatever it is…
The dorms were awesome. They are well-kept and up to date, there's always opportunities to meet people, and MSU does a great job of facilitating fun activities. The downside that…
Good sense of community in many of the dorms, however the Resident Advisors seem to run a very tight schedule and can be difficult to track down for questions/advice/etc.…
There are weekly activities which are put on by each individual hall. Go there and meet tons of people. Also, get to know your Resident Adviser they are there to…
The dining on campus is awesome. Miller and Harrison offer multiple options for meals. The food is of good quality and they always try to change up the menu so students don't get sick of the same food. They are extremely helpful with any food allergies or dietary restrictions (they list allergens on all the foods) so you don't have to talk to someone every time you want to eat.

Read MoreThe surrounding area of the college offers a huge variety of food and dining options, meaning you'll always be able to find something to eat!
Read Moreof the dining halls, hannon is the best. it doesn't have as many options as miller or harrison, but it's more homestyle and definitely better for you.
Read Morethere are three cafeterias that i know of, with one being renovated, and all seem pretty popular. lots of variety, and good food.

Read MoreThe food and dining by my dorm of North Hedges was excellent. Miller Dining Hall is open convenient hours for students and serves many types of food all times during the day to where students always have multiple choices. However, it was most often dirty and some employees did not follow normal health code. I did not visit the other dining halls so I can not give an opinion on them.
Read MoreThe food is actually really good. Sometimes there are things that I don't really like, of course, and it sometimes gets repetitive, but overall it is pretty good. There is almost always food available and you are usually very close to a dining hall.
Read MoreThere are, I believe, three dining halls. They all serve different things and have different specialties so there's usually something you want to eat. There is also a student union building with several options for eating as well as a smoothie shop and a candy store. The college being downtown, there are a lot of very good places to walk and bike to right outside campus, but if you want something upscale, the best you can really get is Olive Garden.
Read MoreMultiple dining halls on campus made it easier to let you eat when ever! The food was usually really good and had a good atmosphere
Read MoreWhile Greek life is still a prominent force within MSU's campus it does not rule over the school. Many people are involved in greek life and they are extremely involved in helping charities throughout the year. The sororities accept a wide variety of people (not just the typical sorority girl stereotype) and are very involved.
Read Morepersonally, i don't know. friends and family say that it is good, with one living in the frat house (it being cheaper than rooming on campus). using what they tell me, it seems to be good.
Read MoreI am involved in greek life on MSU and I love how there are enough sororities for it to be a fun activity, and the greek life on campus does not take over to other students, yet it is fun for the 5% of students that are involved.
Read MoreIt's here, I choose not to involve myself.
Read MoreI honestly don't know anything about this, but I've heard the sororities and fraternities (at least some of them) can be pretty friendly. Others won't let you into their parties if you're dressed wrong. It's really 50/50.
Read MoreI ended up joining one of the four sororities on campus. The Greek life is super welcoming and all of the girls are really nice. There are also seven fraternities on campus.
Read MoreOur greek life seems to be more about the parties and not about their involvement on and off campus. I never hear about them doing any good. They seem like a pointless part of campus life.
