Read MoreMCC has a great Java's the people are great there and there is always a good song playing I have met all my friends in Java's, I think it has something to do with the soothing smell of coffee. Sepending on what classes you are taking the overall atmosphere may be lacking. I took a couple English class in which very few people would ever read the assignments and hardly anyone would have anything intelligent to add to the conversation. This is mainly because most people who go to Monroe don't actually live on campus, but at home. So they go to classes and then leave, which doesn't create that happening atmosphere that you find at other colleges.
