Dorm life is fun, but it can be hard because you are away from your family.…
Some floors come together and group up forming strong friendships. Other floors you won't see a soul outside of their room as they play Minecraft. Depends who you're roomed with.…
The dorms are old school. It has small rooms. There is only one common room. …
The dorms are not set up very well to provide much opportunity for social interaction, but laying out your room effectively can. There are no common rooms on the…
Quiet but good…
Food is dismal, tasteless, absurdly overpriced, and overall just terrible. The meal plan is obscenely expensive and you do not get what you pay for. Sometimes there are things like wing day or special events, but does not make up for the rest of the regular meals.
Read MoreThe cafeteria food is not always the best but there are countless restaurants that are unique to the Milwaukee area surrounding the school. They also have food available in buildings where classes are. The meal plan system can be somewhat confusing to newer students.
Read MoreThe caf is great. All you can eat. I love eating as much food as I can fit in my body and not pay for each individual thing.
Read MoreIf you want a lot of sub-par food for one meal swipe, the cafeteria is a good place to go. The grill in the cafeteria does have its benefits, and the guy working there makes the burgers taste appetizing. If you want a small amount of good tasting food for one meal swipe, go to Skylight or Roscoe's. Those food places also take meal dollars and have pretty good food. The hours for Roscoe's constantly change, but can be really good when you're up late working on a paper. There's not a lot of cheap restaurants surrounding the campus, but there is a Panera Bread, Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Zoup, and several other restaurants nearby. Also, Vagabond has 2 dollar taco Tuesdays and Thursdays
Read MoreThe food here is not that good and there is basically no variety in what they serve. Also the hour are horrible.
Read Morethey offer a variety and theres new items to try each day and match everyones personal likes.
Read MoreThere are SO many good places to eat around campus, and Skylite in our student union has really good sandwiches and fries!
Read MoreThere are plenty of great food places around the campus so there are plenty of options.
Read MoreThe cafe food is okay, but it's nothing special. There are also two other places to get food that are a bit better, but again, nothing special.
Read MoreGreek life is not particularly big at MSOE. I know there are some things available but it's nothing special. There are a few fraternities or sororities.
Read MoreGreeks here are the best. I rushed a sorority. There is no hazing, it's non-competitive, and its great for networking and making friends.
Read MorePretty good guys and girls, not like the stereotypical ones you see in the movies.
Read MoreThere is basically no Greek life and sororities aren't allowed to have a house.
Read MoreA couple fraternities and sororities. You won't be looked down on if you're not a part of one and most students aren't. They can be a source of fun and motivation for those who are interested.
Read MoreThe greek orgs are very different from stereotypical frats and sororities. They do drink, but definitely not as much as TV portrays them out to be. They do actually care about their members' education and helping them succeed into becoming well-rounded people.
Read MoreI have not participated in Greek life, but there are several fraternities and sororities that maintain an active social atmosphere around campus with both each other and the general student population.
Read MoreNot very much greek life. I think it's 5% of students are in greek.
Read MoreWould have to contact school. I do not remember the name...But it is there
