MIAD is pricy, there's no denying that, but they do a great job of supporting students who need help to attend here. They give generous scholarships--because of my portfolio, I got just about half of my tuition covered by scholarship. And, it might be a college cliché, but you get what you put in--meaning as long as you work really hard, you'll get your money's worth here.

The quality of everything here is insane for the price. The faculty here are experienced artists, writers, scientists, and historians that have had a lot of good things to pull from their personal careers outside of MIAD.
