Don't assume you will get housed in Dolson, and genuinely be an adult if you're having roommate issues. Also, utilize counselling!! It's free for students at the health center and it works WONDERS. Along with that, don't feel bad for wanting to switch counselors. Reach out to upperclassmen!

Millikin is a very "do-it-yourself" school. You have to be the one to put yourself out there and get involved on campus; no one will reach out to you unless they know who you are and what you can do. The small campus allows you to do this easily, so it works in your favor! Just go to a few events that relate to what you're interested in, and you've already taken a big step to advancing yourself socially.
