brand new dining halls as of fall 2016 with food quality improving across all 4 years there.

There are two main options for dining. Egan is the dining hall where there are stations that serve different types of foods. Egan is usually pretty hit or miss, although their holiday meals are the bomb. Egan has a consistently good salad bar, desserts, and you can never go wrong with cereal. The Laker is the second option for dining on campus. It is comparable to a food court. There are different stations that specialize in types of food (Mexican, Chinese, Grill, etc.). The Laker is pretty good but is mostly for upper classmen. It can be pricey if you are paying out of pocket or do not have a meal plan. The bookstore has a Starbucks inside, which is really nice and there is a Culinary Cab that goes around campus sometimes.

Mercyhurst has two on campus cafeterias, Egan and the Laker. Egan is the main cafeteria with a deli, main course, grille, brick oven pizza, and salad bar. The Laker has a variety of options including a grille, Chinese place (with sushi too), burrito place, and sub station.

I only ate in the cafeteria once, but the food was better than expected.

Great variety of fresh hot foods, cold foods, and sushi!

From what I heard, the food could be better, but I don't stay on campus so I wouldn't know.

The food at the all you can eat buffet is delicious, but it gets tiring eating the same thing over and over everyday.

Egan usually has ok food; Thursdays are always questionable however since they have a low impact day. The Laker Inn is a lot better, though usually you have to wait a while for your food...Worth it though!

Food is okay, sometimes awful though. It depends where you eat. At the Laker, it is a wider variety of foods and usually most anyone can find something they like. At Egan, it is a hit or a miss. Some days it is amazing, other days you go and just eat cereal.

no greek lfe

Mercyhurst has no Greek life. From my experience, I think that is a good thing. The school is less cliquey because of this.

There are not Fraternities or Sororities

We do not have Greek Life on our campus.

No Greek life but instead we have houses like the soccer house, lacrosse house etc..

No sororities or fraternities at MU.

I am personally not aware of any other Greek life other than Tri Beta the Biological Honors fraternity (that is available many places)
