Read MoreMercyhurst is not exactly the most exciting campus. Honestly go to sporting events for an awesome time. Our sports teams are really great. Hockey, Football, basketball, baseball, whatever sport is being played just go. Freshman cannot have cars unless you work off campus so you are basically reliant on the bus system. The bus is nice and is a good tool to get off campus to shop or go out to eat. The beach and Splash Lagoon are not far from campus at all so if you know someone with a car or use an uber, it can make for a great day trip. The school will offer various entertainment throughout the year which is nice. Spring Fest, being the main one, is fun because it is a free concert and everyone gets really hyped (this past year T-pain came).
Read MoreThere is always something to do on campus, from going to one of the many dance performances to the annual concert by an actual famous group that comes to campus (this year it will be New Politics and Mayday Parade). There is also a really nice coffee shop connected to the bookstore. Being very close to the city and having free bus transport is also a good way to go out and have an adventure (Mill Creek Mall and Tinsel Town Movie Theatre are popular destinations).
