  • Living on campus definitely offers a different experience compared to those who commute but it is by no means a mandatory experience. The residence halls are some of the nicest…

Food on campus is similar to that of cafeteria food but a thousand times better. There are many options in the cafeteria throughout the day and each station has something different. Each station has a sign listing the foods for that particular station and dietary concerns are addressed. There are gluten free options as well as vegetarian/vegan options. We have our own brick oven pizza station that I personally think rivals the family pizzeria by my house. The second area to get food is the pub. The pub is open from 8am to midnight everyday and offers a variety of foods as well. There are pre-made food items for students who are in a rush. Additionally there are other foods like wraps, burgers, burritos, salads and pasta just to name a few. The pub also acts kind of like a mini convenience store. There are snacks and drinks and even microwaveable meals like raman and easy-mac. Students do not go hungry on this campus but do not usually gain the Freshman 15 because of all the hills and stairs on campus. The food is obviously not the home cooking I am used to but I never leave anywhere hungry and that is really all I can hope for.

There are two places to eat on campus, the dinning hall and the pub. Both have average food, but there are plenty of choices to choose from food wise.

Dining isn't the best here. Late night options include eating at the pub, which includes only fried greasy food.

The cafeteria is open until 8pm. The pub is open til 2am. However, there isn't enough variety for food to eat and pick from. Especially is someone wants to eat healthy.

The cafeteria is made in buffet style, with a pizza and sandwich bar, a bar for salad, fruits, yogurt, cookies, and other goods, and a place for ice-cream and different toppings to choose from. However, the pizza served is very oily; the garlic bread is oily as well, salty, and soggy. The meat is very chewy and the food overall can be very unappetizing and not cooked properly at times. The only meal that may satisfy students the most is breakfast. Students will usually go to the pub, where I notice they get salads, burgers, chicken wraps, chicken fingers, and fries.
