  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

they have buffet style dining, and the meal plan comes with unlimited swipes here. there is high speed wifi ( i checked :) ) and many outlets for charging phones and laptops. they also have great hours. of the 5 places to eat, 4 are open until 10. the one that doesn't close at 10 is starbucks, and it closes at 12am. there is also a fully stocked kitchen ( like pots and pans and a large oven ect...) where students can prepare their own meals and snacks. as long as you clean up after yourself, everything is good.

Great options on campus and nearby. Starbucks on campus is always promising and the food in any of their cafeteria is good. There are many options on any given day so you'll rarely have to settle for food you don't like. (Never got sick from MC's food by the way). Subway and Dunkin Donuts are extremely close to the campus if you're looking for something small. There's a sushi place close to the dorms and if you really want to take the 1 train to the city.

Food is very good on some days, not always. There are many places to eat nearby where you can use jasper dollars that you get with the food plan.

It's pretty annoying to wait online at tex mex. The cookies are to die for. Everything else is pretty annoying. Its better to eat in and around the Riverdale area. I suggest Jasper Deli and Goodfella's Pizza, both a five minute walk from the front of campus.

Lockes loft has a few good days. A few. However, a typical day at Lockes loft comes with disappointment. Food is often overcooked, and sometimes even undercooked. During weekends, I'd say 75% of the kitchen staff is off, so a few easy- to- cook trays of food are made, and the students are generally unhappy with the cafeteria all weekend. However, some days their are pleasant surprises. A team of sushi chefs may come in to prepare intricate pieces of sushi, or the Tex- Mex station may turn into a Hibachi grill. Food on campus at MC is often unpredictable.

One main dining hall buffet style. There are grab n go options available at DanteĆ¢??s den and Leo cafe. Cafe 1853 is a good place to study and order food which is brought out to your table.

While the food on campus has a high diversity factor, it generally isn't that great. The main dining hall isn't very large and it sometimes has trouble handling the influx of students coming in for lunch or dinner. On some, rare days, the food is absolutely spectacular, but on other days the general consensus is less than appealing. The overall dining experience is relatively clean, though. It is better to sometimes order out for dinner on many nights. It is somewhat common for an entire floor in the dorms to order out collectively on some nights. The meal plan for Manhattan College is considerably inflexible and expensive, despite offering an unlimited meals option; it doesn't have a good bang-for-buck ratio. The on campus dining is, however, good for a small, quick snack a few times per day.

Average college food. 4 dining halls. Hot meals, salad bar, pizza, sushi, gluten free, allergen free, coffee/tea station, tex-mex, soft serve machine, etc. All the food your stomach desires! There is a Starbucks on campus as well as a sit down restaurant that serves higher class dining hall food. Also a small school grocery store with cereal, granola bars, candy, Gatorade, milk, juice, ice cream, etc.

There are a couple sororities and one fraternity. The sorority that my friends wanted me to join was the Alpha Sigma Phi. They participate in a lot of events and make people feel like there is a warmer atmosphere on campus. They bring colleges together since each college has greek groups that want to meet other greek groups at events.
