  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

There are a few places around campus that have food but town is only a few minutes away so that adds to the options.

There are good and bad things about Manchester's food and dining. One of the positives is that there is a cafe in the library so if you are really busy and must work through lunch you can eat and work. Another positive is that if you have food sensitivities or restrictions then the cooks will make special dishes. For example there is always a vegetarian option for me behind the counter if I ask for it. The negatives are that the food is very processed, not organic, and there is a lot of oil used in the foods. There is almost always the Mongolian grill open but other than that different types of non-American foods are not usually available.

The food is good if you change it up every once in a while. If you eat the same thing over and over it will get old fast.

The food is good here, especially when they give you options even as a vegetarian. Manchester gives options to those with food allergies as well.

Manchester has many options on dining for each meal. We have the Joe Young Switzer Center which serves different foods in a buffet like style, and has alternative options for vegetarians and vegans. Then there is The Oaks which serves grilled sandwiches and breakfast, and also Wilbur's which serves a variety of foods.

The food isn't that great, every once in a while there will be a good meal. But if you plan on staying the weekends, prepare to get very few options.

The food has days when it is really good and also days it is bad. It is a pretty typical college dining experience. Still the food is edible and if you really want something else there is plenty of places close by to pick up food.
