    Sit in on a few classes while you're here. As a music major, I sat in on a High School Choral Methods class on one of my visits here and the professor and the class itself had me sold. The professor made me instantly feel at home and I knew I was meant to be there.

    Do not go alone. Unless you are someone that can make friends easily, being there alone can be hard. It's not all bad since it's possible to be friends with your roommate, but if that is not the case, then I recommend trying to go somewhere closer to home.
