Loyola is a big adjustment as any college, but more so depending on what high school or other college you went to before. Loyola does not have too much diversity, but they are getting better each year. Other than the lack of diversity, Loyola is a great place to be. The majority of the professors are kind and helpful. The dorm life is among the top in the nation, ranking third. The campus itself is beautiful every season. Lastly, Loyola's Jesuit tradition strengthens the inner person and the developing adult no matter if you are Catholic or not.

The campus is beyond beautiful! I have yet to meet someone mean. So many people from the workers to the students are friendly. There is something for EVERYONE to get involved in, from religions, ethnicities, hobbies. If you put your mind to it, it is never boring!

Loyola is a great school and I really enjoy being here. The classes are interesting and really seem to relate to the real world. The people are overall nice. If you are not a big partier consider this when looking at Loyola.

I came to college skeptical about making friends. I was surprised to find how friendly everyone is at Loyola - from the students, the to professors, to the staff. Its really easy to make friends in class, or in various clubs. I have found an awesome friend group that I know I can depend on for anything, but I still have other friends that I hang out with - its not a clique, or anything even close to that.
