    Take advantage of being in LA - internships, volunteering opportunities are all available here. LMU is a small campus - which means you can take leadership roles and even start your own thing. Freshman year is a year to explore. Sign up for everything and learn what you're actually passionate about. School ALWAYS comes first. Its not fun not being able to join Greek Life or Service Organizations if you don't have the grades for it. Talk to your professors! They all have interesting lives and are easy to connect to.
