Read MoreThe campuses are just a couple blocks away from fast food places and beautiful restaurants. One of the campuses even has its own cafeteria and bifstro.
Read MoreThere food is amazing. The students and faculty has a choice of deli, pizza, corn dog, Mexican food, and snacks, and healthy alternatives.
Read MoreI've only had the cafeteria food once or twice, and it was average. However, I do appreciate the Viking convenience store (T building) staying open late, for those of us who take night classes.
Read MoreAs a school that prides itself in its culinary arts programs, and as a person who has many friends studying under that program, I must say that the students do very little to contribute to the overall dining experience at LBCC. I have had the displeasure of sampling and eating almost half of all the menu items in the Viking Food Court and for the prices they charge, the overall taste and quality is below sub par. You honestly cannot expect much from Cafeteria or school food, but when you have cafeteria workers burping on the back of their hands as they're moving food, or watching them on their smoke breaks eating fast food from McDonalds, you cannot help but say oh the irony!
Read MoreOH school food, the most optimized question of all, forget about the rigor, the classes, the students, the real money and interest is with the food. Let's be honest, all that students care about is catching a good bite, with food that will simply melt away the stress of an academic lifestyle. At LBCC the cafeteria department has gone through some changes, now a new chef was hired and the food is said to be better than it has been in the past years. Personally, I love their restaurant style burgers and fries and for someone who is looking for something a bit more healthy, there are alternatives to every dish, so do not worry my fitness junkies your voice is heard at LBCC. I guess mainly it depends in your taste you may or may not like the food, but food is a form of art, so, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, even when it comes to LBCC food, so it mainly depends on you and your food inquiry.
Read MoreI have a couple of friends that are in different sororities. They feel at home and welcomed by everyone. It's a great support system to have.
Read MoreSorority and fraternity life is seen throughout campus.
Read MoreI'm only aware of a few sororities and fraternities on campus, as well as the public furniture they contribute to the school such as concrete benches and plaques. They are the student organizations of LBCC that you will see more than any other, setting up tents and holding fundraisers throughout the weeks.
Read Morenone
Read MoreI don't think that this school is a great place for Fraternities or the like because (1) it's too small of a campus, (2) you should be worrying about transferring, and (3) in the community college level in my opinion, is like student council in middle school.
Read MoreI'm not sure if there is a Greek life.
Read MoreThere is clubs for all sorts of life including geek life. They have an awesome library with computers ;)
Read MoreNone that I know about but I'm an older student going back to school so this may be something young students know about.
Read MoreGreek life is around, but they are not as pronounced as other colleges.
