The campuses are really small and I feel safe. There are about 25 students in a class so, it’s easy to get help from a professor. The staff is really nice and classes are very affordable!

Everyone is great. Professors take the time to help you in class. Advisors help outside of class to make sure everything runs smooth on your education.

This is a great option to complete your pre-requisite for your career at an affordable price and close to home. They have many locations which allow students to choose which one is better for them, and they have a wide variety of programs and degrees offered, as well as partnerships with some of the local colleges for a smooth transition to complete a Bachelor's degree, if that's what you're looking for.

The lone star system is an excellent place to finish your associates. The cost of attending I find it very cheap compared to other colleges. Also, it is a safe area to attend school.

Hello, I was a student at Lone Star College back in 2000 and my son and my wife are currently attending the school. The tips I am putting below are very important because I don't want you to go to the same things that we did. Hopefully you will find that the things I'm posting are very accurate, very true, and very disturbing. Thank you

The professors really care about the students. As a student, you have a support of every staff member. Compared to a four-year institution, you are saving a lot of money.

Great place to start fresh grade wise, save money, and get basic courses out of the way. If you didn't do well in high school and want to kinda start fresh and to get a better GPA this is a great place for that. It is also a lot cheaper than the regular colleges, plus there are several scholarships and opportunities. You can take the basic courses here that you would take at any other university and when and if you decide to transfer, then you can take the classes you want and really need for your specific major.
