If you're not too into religion or have no interest in learning about it there is no way to avoid it here. Since LeTourneau is a Christian university you are required to take theology classes every year and attend chapel three times a week. As far as classes and extra help and tutoring go, they do offer the basics like tutoring and SI sessions taught by appointed students. The professors are usually really understanding and try to help out the best they can, so always try and talk to your professor first to see if they can help you out. The people that are in charge of tutoring are very stingy with who they allow to get tutoring, but you can set up a tutoring session online as a go-around.

Because LeTourneau is a private university, it may not be the cheapest option, but taking dual-credit courses while in high school can eliminate the need to pay for those classes in college and can allow for a lighter college workload. Getting good scores on the SAT or ACT will greatly increase the possibility of receiving better academic scholarships. LeTourneau is a Christian school and enforces a chapel credit policy, so get involved with a local church and try not to miss the campus chapel meetings.
