I the school is great! they help anyway they possible can , its a small campus , easy to get around!…
LCC exists so that the people it serves have learning and enrichment opportunities to improve their quality of life and standard of living.
Last year I was sick for mostly all of the Winter Semester. I found that when I was at LCC's campus I would vomit a lot and wouldn't feel sick until I was at campus. I don't know what it is about this school, but it literally made me sick! This year is much better, however. It's a pretty campus when there isn't construction (in the 2 years I've been here, there hasn't been a day without construction).
Read MoreI really do not like being at LCC that much. A majority of the people I see around campus always have a mad look on their face or just look like they want to sleep. Most of the people are not very friendly if you try to strike up a conversation with them. I have a lot of good friends that are international students. I'm not really sure why but they are so much more outgoing and friendly than the American students on campus. Since it is a commuter campus people usually just go to class and then go home. There isn't really any activities for people to get involved in on campus, and if there is they don't advertise it well at all, so people are not aware of it. Overall I would say there is no campus spirit. I really think a lot of people are embarrassed to say they go to LCC because it has the reputation of Last.Chance.College.
Read MoreBeing at Lansing Community College has totally changed my mind about community college because I have had so many high quality professors who also teach or have taught at MSU and U of M . It is harder to make friends because you often only see people in class (because there are no dorms and people often don't live nearby) but I have met some great people that I still expect to be friends with long after I leave LCC.
