    When applying to this school and other schools do everything you can to get more money. I wrote letters to the school personally and got an extra scholarship for my need. It is known for being a party school, but if you don't like to party no one will force you to. It's a great place to meet a ton of great people who have the same interests as you and the college does a great job of creating a close community.

Visit your top two college choices more than once and at different times during the year to really get a feel for what it would be like to live there.
