Student Responses to Review Topic: Food And Dining

I gave food and dining three stars because I thought it was pretty expensive for the required meal plan. Also there are only two options for meals plans and I would have liked some options that maybe had less meals because I did not need the 14 meals a week plan I had. The food was always pretty good, and since I lived in the Van Zile complex and it was smaller, I was allowed to eat at any of the other dining complexes which was pretty nice.

There are several options for food on campus and off campus. The Union has some options for lunch, like Chick-fil-a and Panda Express. Hale also has an Einstein's in the basement where you can get a snack or lunch. You can also walk to Aggieville where there are so many restaurants to choose from (like Chipotle!). If not, you can always go to downtown Manhattan.

The food in the dinning hall is pretty decent and they always have Call Hall Ice Cream and Milk. Also, there are tons of great places to eat throughout Manhattan that will fit into any budget.

Student Responses to Review Topic: Greek Life

I personality am a little biased towards Greek Life because I love it. I joined a sorority in the fally of my freshman year and have never looked back. The sorority has give me so many opportunities to help improve myself as a person. I have gone for leadership roles, joined clubs, become more social and just grown as a person because of the women that support me. I have also made some of the best friends I ever had. Do not believe the sorority stereotypes because I am definitely not a typical sorority girl but I found the perfect fit for me. Also there are so many fun activities you get to be apart of like homecoming, serenades, Greek Week, ect. 10/10 would recommend.

I live in an all girls 4-H Scholarship House and it is amazing! I love being with people from different backgrounds from me and I have enjoyed the many friendships that I made since joining. Greek life is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and really experience K-State.

Greek Life is huge on K-State campus. We have 12 sororities, soon to be 13 and 24 fraternities. There is always an event going on, I mean always. It is not possible to go to every event. They are always being advertised on Facebook and on campus. We also are a very tight knit group. I have at least one friend in almost every fraternity and/or sorority, and I know most of us in Greek life are like this. We are in a certain house but that doesn't mean we don't have friends and aren't welcome at other houses. It is like one big family!

The greek life here at Kansas State University is very involved in philanthropy and also involved with other fraternities and sororities. No groups have any stereotypes and none of the houses fall into disagreement; in fact, almost all of the houses participate in the philanthropy events of the other greek communities.
