This is a GREAT place to get started if you are planning to go on to a four year college or university. It's a wonderful learning environment! Also, JJC has well respected Associate of Applied Science programs that allow you to streamline into a career (Nursing, Vet Tech, Phlebotomy, etc...)!! That's what I'm doing.

Joliet Junior College is the first public community college in the United States. And it’s easy to see how other institutions of higher education proceeded to follow their model: the classroom sizes are small (roughly 20 or so students on average), the curriculum is comprehensive, and the cost of attendance is perfectly reasonable for people at diverse stages of life. My professors have been nothing short of dedicated professionals in their respective fields.

Joliet Junior College is a great college for students who are indecisive in what college they want to attend. I would recommend this college to anyone. Their hands on experiences are amazing. They really cater to your needs!

It is a very small place but a good start for people who plan on transferring. There aren't too many interesting classes but they have multiple campuses so the drive to get to one isn't too bad. It seems like they have a few clubs but I was never interested.

JJC has hit or miss teachers. The students are decent when it comes to kindness and understanding. If you are not in a club, there is no family atmosphere in my experience.

Great starter school for students that are undecided on a major or university. You can save thousands of dollars beginning your first two years at JJC because tuition is very affordable. Along with the several transferable credits, there is an amazingly caring staff here that truly care about your educational success.

JJC is an awesome choice for people who either want to save some money by taking gen eds or for those who just need to acquire a certificate. They have a variety of programs to choose from and tons of resources. You have to be proactive, because they treat you like a college student and you need to be the one who asks for help if needed.

Jjc is a midway point from high school and university. Counsolers are great, student activities are fun, and there are always people to help you.

JJC is a great school to attend for students who want to lower the cost of their education or students who do not know what they want to do. The school has saved me a lot of money on my general education courses, and I would highly recommend going there if you live nearby either before you go to a four-year or just to get an Associate's degree. I have never had any problems with an unfriendly staff member or fellow student there.
