At Jacksonville State University, there are tons of yummy food eating opportunities. First, there is Jack Hopper Dining Hall. Jack Hopper Dining Hall is buffet style with numerous sections of food to dive into. There is a section labeled Pizza that makes all types of pizza. Pizzas include salad pizzas, meat pizzas, pineapple pizzas, and the most delicious bread sticks. In addition, there is the Deli. At the Deli, there is an option for premade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, and so much more. The Deli also has a part that is Subway style where you request whatever you want. Thirdly, there is the Southern Food and International sections. These sections change their meals every day, and every meal. No two meals are the same. Next, there is the Grill with quesadillas, double cheeseburgers, single cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheeses, and unlimited French fries. Yummy! Last is the desserts. Cakes, cookies, brownies, strawberry shortcake, self serve ice creams, cones and bowls, and do not forget the cobblers.

The Cafe is the place to go at JSU. They have a wide variety of daily entrees to pizza and burgers available daily. Don't forget to stop by the Gamecock diner for a more restaurant feel to dinner, Jazzman's coffee shop & bakery, and the food court in the Theron Montgomery Building includes Baja Fresh Mexican grille, 155 degrees grille, Gamecock pizza Chick-Fil-A express and Freshens frozen yogurt stand.

Greek life is really awesome! You always have people to eat with, study with, and hang out with. It really helped me since I am a freshman and it made the transition easier.

I have yet to meet an unpleasant Greek life member. Being one myself, I have seen some of the nasty people that live up to the media stereotypes of Greek life, but JSU helps foster some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. If you're looking for a social fraternity/sorority or a service one, you'll find a group that will become your next family if you want.

I'm not involved in greek life but our greek organizations are very involved on campus. They have plenty of programs and events on campus for students to attend and get information in case they are interested in membership.
