I come from a small town and IUP is like the mixture between small town and city life. In the town of Indiana, it is definitely a small town feel. Campus life and the main strip of businesses isn't far down of the road. Campus is always busy and the business life has so much. There is a small mall, and tons of food options. For a fun day Pittsburgh is only an hour!
Read MoreI've enjoyed befriending many people from when I lived in the dorms (Elkin Hall for 2 years) to participating in extracurricular clubs and activities to various classes and even further to the field work I've done for the past two summers. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of and conduct research as an undergraduate and to learn from the experience to prepare for graduate school and the real world in general

Read MoreI really love IUP! Being from Philadelphia coming to IUP was a huge change. At first I was a little put off by how small of a town Indiana is but once I started making new friends I realized there was lots to do there. There is always something interesting going on on campus from concerts to movie nights. Everyone is so friendly. There is a mall, movie theater, and bowling alley not too far from campus. You'll never go hungry there are lots of places to eat on and off campus. You'll love it just like I do.
