Illinois Valley Community College Campus Life

The cafeteria inside of IVCC is average.. similar to what you could get at a high school, but with bagels, pizza Bosco sticks, and soups.. it's okay but the area surrounding the college has dozens of terrific restaurants. Skip the chain stores and try the areas finest, such as garzinellis, johns place, the igloo, or skoogs. There's no Chipotle or anything but count on several subways, Jimmy johns, mcdonalds, as well as a buffalo wild wings, olive garden, red libster, and the root beer stand.

I stick to the vending machines in the cafeteria. They aren't horrible. Both campuses are only about 10-15 minutes from good food anyways.

Average cafeteria food nothing really good or bad. Lots of fast food places are nearby as well as a few sit down restaurants

The food is good, and you'll almost always see students walking around with coffee and other hot drinks from the cafeteria!

Food is very always the same not many options.

ivcc has their own cafeteria that provides great food at good prices. also, there are many local restaurants that provide good food as well.

Honors society. No like frats or sororities. But if you know 2 or 3 people there is a plethora of parties every night.

Mostly honors societies

There's a couple different societies like Sigma Kappa Delta and a few other honor societies of specific fields of study.

2-year college organizations such as Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society; Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society; etc.
