Categories Comments Campus Safety HBC has a very safe and calm atmosphere. It is located off of 95, but there have not been any incidents my entire college career.
Clubs and Activities There aren't really any clubs or activities at the school right now- it's a small student body, but that could all change in time.
Great for these types of students Those who are interested in ministry and those who are wanting to grow in their Christian faith.
Bang for the buck Heritage is relatively inexpensive for a private Bible college. It is a great school for the price.
What to do for fun HBC is located between the bigger cities of Raleigh and Fayetteville, just a short 20 minute drive.
Food and Dining You can get delicious home-cooked style meals from the dining hall or drive 5 minutes into town and eat at the multiple fast-food places and restaurants that Dunn has to offer.
Dorm Life The dorms are a little outdated in some ways, but other than that it's a great experience!
Academic Rigor As long as you study and keep up with the work you will do just fine and understanding the material shouldn't be too difficult. Most of the professors are pretty flexible and will work with you if needed, just don't be afraid to talk to them!
Tips for prospective students Don't be afraid to jump right in and ask questions or get to know everyone! Also, on another note, while college is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable experience remember to keep up with class work, it can be easy to put off.
In three sentences Heritage is the perfect school for those who want a smaller classes and more personal relationships with staff and students. Heritage is great for students who have been living the Christian faith and want a place to continue to grow and learn, and are interested in ministry. Small, but great school!
