As a private institution, Hawaii Pacific University, comes in at a fairly affordable price. At a little more than $10,000 per semester, students can feel like that is a lot (because it is)! The public university, University of Hawaii, is cheaper, but the quality of education is not even close, and the average time it takes to graduate is higher at the public school. HPU offers and accepts so many scholarships, so that should be taken full advantage of.

The tuition is a lot, but you will never have a class over 25 students, and all the teachers are awesome, and they are truly invested in your future.
