There is an array of foods available to students on Fort Street Mall, which is where the downtown campus is located. These foods are typically well-reviewed. It is hard to get tired of the food around Chinatown because there are so many options. The food in the dining halls on the Windward campus are mediocre and can get tiring, but that just means that it is time to take the free 15-20 minute ride on the university shuttle down to the downtown campus.

The food here is great!! Sure, its not your moms home cooked meal, but its usually quite good. The only downside is there is limited hours that the cafeteria is open.

I took most of my classes downtown so I had access to delicious sushi, Subway, McDonalds, Thai cuisine, anything really.

I have never eaten at the dining hall. I make my own food because I stay on off campus housing so I have a stove.

Breakfast is good at the dining commons. Everything else is questionable. I have literally found myself puking my brains out after dinner because it was so horrible. Stay away from meat and dairy products. And before you eat the dinner, ask what was served for lunch. Most of the time, breakfast items aren't even cooked all the way. Overall, it is some of the worst food I have ever had. On the bright side I didn't gain the freshman fifteen.

Ate at the Cafeteria once at the Hawaii Loa Campus and the food was pretty good. I can't complain. Also, the Downtown campus has mini food stores along the school which are okay depending on preference.

The cafeteria is very far from the main building on the science campus. The food that they do offer is very highly priced.

If there's one thing that's great at HPU, it's the food. There are so many affordable places to eat at the downtown campus that you will never go hungry. The food taste amazing and you can get anything from Asian food to Italian food to vegan food.

Places to eat are abundant in the Downtown Campus, but rather scarce in the Hawaii Loa Campsu(campus far east of the island, it's beautiful though).

There are many honor societies, however there aren't many sororities. I actually didn't hear about any while I was on campus.

There are no fraternity's or sororities at HPU, but people do not have any trouble with finding a group of friends that they connect with.
