If you want to find a place that will help you be successful in many ways, this is it. HC has such a great way to get you involved and make you feel like you are at home. It is great to get involved and meet everyone on campus because that is the best way to get through college. My tip is to have fun, yet also learn and come to do what you want to do to succeed. Everyone should think about balancing their life with work and play, so that they enjoy every aspect of college life.

My first tip is to just be prepared for anything, especially classes. Find a good group of friends to associate yourself with and then the rest will follow. Lastly don't be afraid to talk to your professors they are there to help you when ever you need it. Any of your professors will tell you this multiple times.

Definitely get to know your professors. They are always open to talking and helping you with anything (even if it isn't in their field). Many of them know you by first name and actually prefer if you call them by theirs! Also, make sure you start study groups. Study groups are extremely helpful especially when getting into the higher level classes.
