While you are in school it will feel as if your spending a lot without getting much in return. However, if you network properly while in school, you'll graduate with many great connections. There are Hampton Alums everywhere, who are willing to help you out if you show determination and a solid work ethic.
Read MoreHampton University has a beautiful campus. I enjoy setting near the water when the weather is nice socializing or even studying. Everything is walking distance and convenient. Students can do their banking on campus, laundry, eating at fast foods places, etc. It is like a little town.
Read MoreDon't make the mistake of attending this school. It is not at all worth the money or the hassle. The buildings are badly kept and the dorms and cafeteria are infested with rodents and large bugs. Much of the administration is not focused in taking care of it's students. Dr. Barbra Inman, the Vice President of student affairs will only care about students who's mothers are deltas. She is extremely rude and does not do a good job in her position. Her leadership is leading Hampton university down the drain. The academic programs could be way better. There is nothing to do and nowhere to go, and very unsafe, many student have been jumped and robbed on campus grounds. It was the worst experience of my life and I would never return. If you want to know more go on twitter and search restore HU to se the horrible conditions for yourself and hear from about them from students.
Read MoreI guess Hampton University is worth your money if you can afford it. However, due to the fact that I received the Presidential Scholarship which covers tuition, room, and board, I may not be the best person to ask regarding this facet of the Hampton experience.
