Around Town

There are over 40 clubs at Hamilton and there is something or everyone. I am in the Black and Latinx Student Union and the Latinx Club: La Vanguardia. There are parties almost every weekend on campus but they tend to be very small.

A better question is how do I choose what to do with so many activities going on. On any given night there are tons of club meetings, lectures, and workshops. On Tuesday nights, students look forward to Trivia Night at our on campus pub. On the weekends, students like to hang out with their friends, attend sporting events, concerts, and plays, go to parties, watch movies, and go out to dinner. I've never been bored on campus!

Hamilton is constantly hosting activities for students to do--there are multiple events each week and weekend. Students are always busy here, doing things that they love, which keeps the campus fun in and of itself. Go see your friends play/perform/sing/dance/present; one of the most fun experiences is seeing just how talented everyone is!

I have never been bored at Hamilton! There are so many things to do, whether it's climbing the 3 story rock wall, going to an acoustic coffeehouse, attending a guest lecture, walking in the glen, or hanging out in Opus cafe, you will never have much down time. Hamilton is close to the adirondacks, so many students go hiking on the weekends.

There are a lot of fun activities and traditions on campus. Every year we have Class and Charter Day where there is a huge concert on campus. We also have a number of speakers and comedians that also come to campus. Our Campus Activities Board does a great job of making sure there are a number of activities for students no matter what their interests are.

The campus activities board does a great job organizing all different types of events on campus for students to enjoy. They bring in movies that have just left theaters for a nice relaxing night. Three times a year, they bring in big names for concerts for the entire student bod. Our students also really enjoy going out and supporting our sports teams throughout all three seasons.

There are many on-campus events from concerts to comedy shows to theater performances.

Clinton is quaint but Hamilton students do a good job of making their own fun. The student-run entertainment club known as CAB does an incredibly good job of providing on-campus entertainment. Groups on campus, whether it be Greek organizations, sports teams, or clubs, host social events in all-campus spaces on the weekends. The Hamilton Outing Club (HOC) runs trips up into the Adirondacks nearly every weekend.
