    * Downtown grove has coffee shops and there's a beautiful theater that puts on a community show every spring. If acting is your jam, there's many alternatives on campus as well as the community play. * Campus Organizations. So many. There's clubs for dancing, languages, mathematics, engineering, rpg, just so much. Since we are a "close knit" or dang tiny college, most organizations are pretty invested in their members * Napping in various locations is a hobby or a lifestyle. * Making fun of Grover stereotypes is also fun. * Creeking people is an ART.

There is an old, historic movie theater in town, along with a coffee shop and several small shops. If a student has a car, they can drive an hour to Pittsburgh or just 10 minutes to the Premium Outlets.

There are plenty of great clubs and intramural sports to get involved with for fun. You can also just hang out with friends in one of the two rec rooms and play pool or ping-pong. There is also a nice coffee shop in town that you can easily walk to called Beans on Broad that students like to hang out at. GCC is not a party school, so if that is what you are looking for don't come here. Grovers have a blast just being with friends and don't feel a need to go and get stoned doing so.

There are several parks in the area, the local outlet mall and several good local eateries.

  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

There are so many intramurals! from ultimate frisbee to fencing to racquetball there is something for everyone. There is really no possible way to be board on this campus.

The Grove City Outlets are a major shopping attraction, and located only 15 minutes off of campus. There is also little downtown Grove City, which has shops including Beans on Broad, the local coffee shop, and The Guthrie, our local movie theater.

There's a lot to do for fun on the Grove City campus. As mentioned earlier, there seems to be a dance every other weekend (club, ballroom, swing). There are always a few events going on whether it is a football game, a play, a coffee house, etc... Aside from that, there are hang out spots all over campus, intervisitation, shops/restaurants in the city just off of campus, the old-fashioned movie theater (the Guthrie), etc... Overall, I have only on rare occasion (if ever) heard anyone complain about not having enough to do for fun around GCC!

Without car: join a club. join an intramural, join a sports team, go to the tiny theater in town, participate in theatre, join marching band, do stuff with friends on campus, attend lectures, engage in hobbies, I can't list everything so just do what you would do for fun at home With car: Go anywhere/do anything, visit Pittsburgh/Erie/other cities in PA, tons of camping and outdoor places in Western PA, hiking, biking, canoeing Optional: If you can, definitely study abroad
