Grand Valley State University Campus Life

The food choices are much more abundant than seen at other schools, and all seem to be great choices.

The food is very good and they make sure to have healthy options and vegan options.

So many food options! Where do I begin? My favorite is the Panda Express in Kirkhof, but the line can get pretty long. There's also many places to get coffee or tea, like Starbucks, Argo, or Einstein Bros. Delicious!

Was not a fan of the food and dining. Started out with a 14 a week meal plan my first semester, it dwindled to 40 meals my second and third semesters and now I do not have a meal plan at all. I prefer healthy options and there did not seem to be much of that for me. Also there are not enough places to eat based on the number of students so waiting in line can be a long process.

Campus food is campus food. It's not a home cooked meal but it's not terrible either.

Quality differs, but for the most part it is very good. There is a wide range of food options within walking distance. However, if you consider yourself dependent enough to do so, I would suggest not getting a meal plan and buying your own food at Meijer. You save a lot of money!

As I've mentioned, their options when it comes to food are lacking a bit. Sandwiches will probably become your best friend, considering how many sandwich lines there are.

There are many options for dining on campus, and the food is of pretty good quality for college. And as of the 2014-2015 academic year, the university is continuing to add dining options to the campus.

There are sororities and fraternities. I am not much into the greek life, but everywhere around campus I see people advertising to join!

Greek Life is a big organization on campus but tends to be quite expensive.

I am actually apart of the Greek life here at GVSU, we have a completely different type of Greek Life compared to other schools. All of our Frats and Sororities must have above a 2.5 gpa no exceptions, an individual can most definitely be kicked out for not having high enough grades. Our greek life for the most part is filled with classy and wonderfully well rounded individuals.

So many opportunities! The people are always so welcoming so just check it out for yourself!

Great greek life. I'm not personally in it but I have only heard good things.

There's lots of opportunites to join a sorority or fraternity. There's a Greek Life night where you can check it all out too.

Grand Valley has many Fraternities and Sororities.

Not very big. There are no official Greek houses at the school
