Any new endevour Is a clean slate. It doesn't matter what kind of student or worker you were prior to crossing the gates at Gavilan. Enter it with a committed, diligent and unwavering effort and you will be successful here. Take advantage of the resources if you find yourself struggling.

I recommend to take classes in your home town first then do the commute.

Get familiar with resources and never hesitate to ask questions. Take advantage of all help available and get involved.

To be successful everyone should attend S.I. classes and tutoring sessions. Be curious and ask questions.

Even if you don't get a class, you can go on the first day and hopefully add it. There seem to be quite a few people who drop after the first week or so.
