    1. Always ask questions- even the most insignificant question can take you far. 2. Take advantage of the mentoring programs like TRIO, the LINC Peer Mentoring program and free turtoring. 3. Research, research, research! 4. Talk to an Advisor and Administration for any enrollment concerns. 5. Visit the Career and Learning Centers for help in your academics and a touch up on your resume. 6. Always stay on top of your game by keeping an agenda to write down deadlines. for example Financial Aid and scholarships due dates. 7. Talk to your instructor when ever needed, they are really there to help you! 8. Be proactive, responsible and caring about your education, its your future! 9. Don't procrastinate! 10. Have fun! and remember that there is a light at the end of this journey. :)
