All of my teachers so far have been great! They all know what they're talking about and make sure we understand what they're talking about before moving on to something new. Even my math teacher, who tended to move a little fast, was willing to stay after class and go over anything that I didn't understand.

Don't come here if you are looking for excitement. There is nothing to do, but go to packed house parties and be involved in other unnecessary activities. The weather is probably worst than the food, and the food is pretty bad.
Read MoreEven though I’m only entering the spring semester of my freshman year, I’m already very much in love with Frostburg. The professors I had last semester were fantastic, and I’ve made some great friends. However, I know this school is not for everyone because of the cold, the location, and the size, but if you make the most of what’s here, you will have a great time.
Read MoreFrostburg is a decent university that while it does have its issue, it can still be a welcoming place. Many of the professors are great and will try their best to help you succeed. You may have issues with their departments such as admissions, registration, financial aid, etc. but as long as you talk to the right people there should be no issue. The area of Frostburg is very cold during winter so be prepared to being a jacket or any other clothing items to help deal with the cold.
Read MoreFrostburg State University is a little bit of an isolated place, but the campus tends to have a lot of on-campus activities and some off-campus activities. It gets very cold up here, yet Frostburg can have the most bipolar kind of weather because it could be cold during the school week but decent or hot on the weekends. Sometimes it can get boring because sometimes, on and off-campus, it can look like a ghost town.
Read MoreI attended Frostburg State University for 2.5 years before transferring to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) this past semester. Frostburg is definitely not the brightest college out there, but it is definitely what you make of it. It is not a bad school, but it is not a good school either. It can be either depending on how you take advantage of the opportunities, time, and responsibilities there. The campus isn't as ethnically diverse as College Park or UMBC is though, but it is more diverse than Towson. It feels like the school is just white and black Americans and nothing else. However, I have met a fair share of African and East Asian students. There's also lots of foreign exchange students from Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, and India every year, too.
Read MoreI personally like Frostburg, because it's really chill and you don't have many distractions. Many people complain that it's not what they expected and it's not "lit" but college is what you make it!
Read Morei would not recommend frostburg to an incoming college freshman because there is nothing around the school campus such as activities or shopping malls. the bathrooms and dorms are not the cleanest. the last thing is they have a low 4 year graduation percentage so most of the students take longer to graduate.
Read MoreIn the winter here it gets pretty cold so make sure you bring the proper clothes. The food in the cafe at Frostburg is average, but there is a Subway in Sowers Hall and Chick Fil A, Starbucks and a Moe's in the Lane Center. And the talk that this school is a party school is over-dramatised.
Read MoreWonderful professors who don't deserve the complete lack of effort that most students at this school give. I was happy with the quality of most of my education, but that didn't make up for being in a place with absolutely nothing to do and no other students I felt I could relate to. I absolutely hated being at Frostburg every second I was there.
Read MoreI'm really glad I chose to attend Frostburg. I've met a lot of new people and made a lot of friends. I've become even more open minded and learned a lot from my experiences there.
