The arts and communications building frequently hosts concerts, art seminars, and author visits. Furthermore, the school brings in many guest-speakers throughout the year.

Participate in clubs, stop by a Student Government Association meeting, and keep an eye on the bulletin boards and the NewsBLAST in your student e-mail for events. There really is a fun, energized pulse on campus if you take the time to plug into it.

There are several talks from people in the industry who come to visit campus. There are music performances and plays. There are also art events to attend.

There are so many activities going on, you just have to keep your eyes open before you miss it.

The Center for Student Engagement always has free tickets for nearby plays and musicals. They are always up to date on the latest activities at FCC and in the Frederick area.

Frederick Community College has one of the liveliest campuses full of friendly, outgoing students. It is by no means rare to find students playing frisbee on the plaza, or playing in instrumental groups to entertain peers. There is also an incredible lounge which is packed with TVs, gaming systems, and pool tables. The Center for Student Engagement offers free popcorn daily, and always has opportunities available for students, such as free tickets to local events, and bus trips to Washington, DC. Also, FCC has dozens of student and faculty-run clubs and organizations that each hold meetings, activities, and events.

There are many activities on campus for everyone. I'm into anime so love love to spend time with people who love anime. I've made a lot of good friends!!!
