When I went to an admitted students day, they said that everyone in the room was in the top 10% of their class but I don't know how true that is. They are really committed to community and helping each other, so that may be a good thing to incorporate into your essay. I think for me this was a target school. I wasn't taking many honors classes for the first half of high school but now I'm in all AP classes. I had about a 3.82 weighted gpa when I applied and I got a 32 on my ACT and a 1470 on my SAT so if that sounds like you then it's a good target school.

If Fordham sends you a fee waiver, take the chance and apply. You have nothing to lose. Most people here didn't initially intend on applying to Fordham, but for some reason, like accepting a fee waiver, they did, and now they love it here and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Also, if you have the opportunity to visit, that is a MUST DO. Most students who weren't sure about how they felt were persuaded within the first five minutes they stepped on campus.
