Read MoreAlthough the dining hall on the main campus isn't particularly enjoyable, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from. They offer some healthy alternatives if you're trying to take care of yourself, and some not-so-healthy alternatives if you're trying to treat yourself.
Read MoreThere is all different types of food available on campus depending on what mood you are in. Whether it be Indian, Asian, Latin, etc. there is always something to satisfy the cravings. Only thing is you might have to walk a little, but it will help you burn off the calories in the end.
Read MoreTons of variety. Latin food, Asian food, burgers, food trucks, empanada shops, coffee shops, basically every local fast food chain and "family restaurant" (Chili's, etc) has an on-campus location. Pick your poison. You're really spoiled for choice here. Of course, the best idea would be just to pack your own lunch every day so you don't end up spending triple digits on fast food every month, but who cares about that when you can spend $8 on a Whipped Cream Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks every day?
Read MoreThere are many good options, like Subway, Panda Express, Moe's, etc.
Read MoreThere are so many food choices on campus alone. Almost and type of food you could think of, and they are major chain restaurants; like Chili's, Moe's, Chick-fil-a, and more. If you will be getting a meal plan you can't go wrong either because they cook almost anything you can think of too, almost like a giant buffet. Off campus dining is also very good because the campus is close to a lot of things. My favorite place overall is tropical cafe located in the gym, best smoothies and flatbreads.
Read MoreThere are many diverse dining options on campus, as well as around campus.
Read MoreThere are a lot of possibilities when it comes to Greek life. I'm not in a fraternity, but if I wanted to there would be multiple that fit my personality and lifestyle.
Read MoreGreek life is definitely predominant on campus, however, they can have a negative reputation as of late. There are a handful of sororities and fraternities that are active.
Read MoreI want to join A.K.A but by the looks of it FIU isn't really big on Greek life as would be a HBCU.
Read MoreThere is a very prominent Greek Life at FIU. It is not uncommon to see people wearing their letters or raising money with their brothers and sisters for a good cause.
Read MoreGoing Greek here was one of the best things i could of ever done and its not as expensive as most schools.
Read MoreThere is a lot of different greek organizations. Finding the one that matches you should be easy.
