Of course, being in the middle of no where Ferrum Virginia can lend its hassles too. The closest commercialized area is Rocky Mount, which is about ten to fifteen minutes away from the campus. The positive of being out in Ferrum is that it is like being in our own little community. The campus is really close and you are able to make many friends with the tight community. You are able to stand out more in a small crowd than in a big sea like at the bigger universities.
