Effective, creative and homely

I am going to be a student at Oxford/Emory in the fall and looking forward to it... Emory was my first choice so I was very excited when I got my letter! I'll also be playing soccer there...

Emory offers everything you would want from an Ivy League school, except combined with southern hospitality. Despite the obvious academic prestige, most students want to help their fellow peers succeed so the atmosphere is extremely accepting. Finally, the campus is always buzzing with something or the other to do, so it feels like a proper campus.

hi my name is aniyah i have always been interested in science. well you may say science, science is a very broad term.i just recently been dwelling on the fact that i want to be a medical lab technician. it interests me the hands on activities in lab finding cures and making medicines. i believe this school and its program have a lot to offer to me and i'm still researching and looking at what's best for me.

emory is very challenging for students of all majors, especially for pre-med and pre-business students. it has a beautiful campus and there are several research opportunities and opportunities to connect with faculty. however, while the campus is diverse, the various racial groups on campus are very segregated and there is not much mingling between greeks and non-greeks.

I visited Emory's campus, and it was beautiful. It seemed like they genuinely valued diversity and creativity over grades. They have a high academic standard but teach in an interesting way.

I am a high school student near the Emory Campus, and I love walking through and using Emory. It has a wonderful library, a beautiful campus, and great academics.

Placed neatly just outside of Midtown Atlanta, Emory is home to some of the brightest minds in the US. It has a large, beautiful campus with modern facilities conducive to getting the best out of the liberal education. Emory is the perfect place for students who appreciate learning and don't mind a challenge.

Emory University has a variety of resources available for students-- great interning opportunities as well as opportunities to work with amazing scientific researchers in a variety of fields. Starting out in my college career, I did question the administrative staff of Emory and if they had the students' best interests at heart but over time, Emory has grown more receptive to the needs of their students and challenges itself in racial, environmental, and gender-based issues. Overall, Emory has served me well in growing as a person and becoming more knowledgeable about the issues facing my generation.
