Read MorePrescott, Arizona is a sleepy town from first glance, but after spending some time here, students find more and more that appeals to them. Across the street are the granite dells in which students can hike and explore the region around the lake. Not into hiking? Also across the street there is a small but very inexpensive zoo to visit. The animals are worth the walk over. Historic downtown Prescott is a good way to learn about some Arizona state history as well as explore some of the better dining venues in town.

Read MoreThe area around here is beautiful. Students go on many hikes, and to downtown Prescott. The school plans a few activities a week as well, which range from science lectures, to guest comedians and magicians, to campus-wide humans vs. zombies and laser tag. There are also video games, pool tables, a ping pong table, and board games available at the student union. A pool and gym are also available.
