Around Town

There is so many things to do for fun. The University has outdoor clubs and all kids of things for the students to do. How can someone not spend some time just walking around the University itself and not notice the nature that surrounds the campus. During the winter months, students can go snowshoeing, snowboarding, and skiing. And thats only in the winter months. But there is fun to be had all year round.

EOU offers lots of programs and clubs that you can join.

A lot of people hang out in the mountains or go hunting on weekends (during season, of course). Those that aren't outdoorsy usually have to be a little creative, since La Grande isn't that much of a metropolis.

There is the outdoor program, the movie theater, sports, clubs like Role playing, studying, hanging out at one of the locations with fussball table, pool, or pingpong. EOU students swim for free at the veteran pool. There are many shops and downtown is only about a ten to fifteen minute walk. You can participate in community events, such as the ballroom dance class, Martial arts, join a band if you play an instrument, and other hosted events.

The school helps find activities for the student and its full of outdoor activities.

We have disk golf on campus this invites people in the community to come on campus and play. The clubs on campus are really fun and they love throwing parties.

What my friends and I like to do for fun is visit the local pool often especially because it is indoor, go on hikes in the spring, and spend time with our volleyball team. Also you can attend many on campus events that are actually quite entertaining.

There is a lot fo outdoor activities. Frisbee golf, mountain biking, and other such activities.
